Because fuel prices are so unstable, most fishing boat captain’s now quote so much a day plus fuel. or if it’s a “head boat” they change prices frequently. On the Chesapeake Bay prices run from $100 per person to $1500 for the boat (5 to 6 fishermen) plus fuel for about 6 hours. I hope this helps.

Check out the Cambria on their site – replica of a 1928-style gentlemans cruiser – been featured in magazines. Pretty expensive though. Content:If you are the owner-operator of a charter yacht based in the UK, and a UK citizen yourself, specialising in cross-ocean, international trips, can you legally carry a firearm onboard?
(Providing you were licensed and the firearm was legal and it’s safe was inspected).
I realise it’s Hollywood but in all the films the Captain of any sized charter boat seems to have some sort of firearm stowed away- presuming you had a license, is there actually anything worong with this?Best answer:Why would you want to carry a firearm.if you were attacked by pirates then you would need a small armoury to fight them off with. I know people that have been attacked and the pirates used assault rifles.
Plus as you enter another country there is a pile of paper work that you need to fill in. I have worked on private yachts that carry all the equipment for clay pigeon shooting but the guns were hired in what ever country we were in at the time.

I know it is nearing the end of the season, but thought we could give it a try. any suggestions on some good ones boat captains there?Best answer:We use Cha Cha Cha dive shop every year, they have also done fishing trips by boat for many years. excellent, ethical owner, small fast boats, good boat captains. Located at Calle 7 Sur, not even 1/2 block off the main road (Rafael E. Melgar). Watch for the mural on the 2nd floor, their entryway and office are on street level between souvenir shops.

There is an airline war going on right now so you can get a one way ticket as low as $19 (average $39).

I’m not sure if there are charter boats but they may be more costly since it’s a high risk and the distance it has to travel. plus going from a certain island to another island can be very bumpy (rough water) and will take about 3-4 (maybe 5) hours (especially from Maui to Kauai). we are suppose to have a Superferry going between the islands but it’s not operational yet.

Thanks for your help in advance!Best answer:Backlash Charters and the Backlash Fishing Team in Destin, FL most definitely! just a couple weeks ago (April 10, 2010) I took a trip on the Backlash in Destin with my son and some friends. we all had the best time ever. Jason Mikel, the captain, and the first mate, Chris, were great! they took us to the best spots and we caught some Amberjacks and some trigger fish. they will take you on trips to do fishing in Destin with swordfish as well. they also told us that we could go on a catch and release charter trip if we wanted.
This was the first time my son and I had been deep sea fishing anywhere so it was important to us that we actually catch some fish. we were told that there were a few inexpensive charters in Destin that left you empty handed, but with the Backlash Fishing Team we came back with a lot of fish!
The first mate did a wonderful job with my son, Sean, (and me) showing us how to hold the rod, operate the reel, and pull in the big fish. what impressed me most was they allowed my son to reel in his own big Amberjacks. My son was thrilled beyond belief. I had a blast watching him and his buddy Tyler pull in the big ones and shout with excitement. of course, I was thrilled catching my own as well. After returning to the harbor, the first mate dressed our fish for us. the trip was memorable! I can’t wait to go Charter Fishing Destin again with the Backlash Fishing Team.
